ORANGEBURG — Police want to make sure a frequent visitor to an Orangeburg convenience store never comes back again. Authorities say they think the same man has broken into the store at least three times in the past two months, including twice in the past week. Police told The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg that the man broke a glass door Saturday and stole several cases of beer. Just five days earlier, investigators think the same man broke in and stole at least six cases of beer. He can be seen on surveillance video smashing the glass, grabbing the beer and dashing out in about 10 seconds.
